Making & Saving Outfits in Firestorm Viewer

Note: Outfits must be created and saved using the Firestorm Viewer. This cannot be done through MoonBots. You will need to log in to Firestorm first before following the steps below.

Opening Your Inventory

First, make sure your inventory is open. You can do this in a few ways:

  1. Click the Inventory button in your toolbar (looks like a suitcase)

  1. Or go to Avatar menu → Inventory

Finding the Outfits Folder

In your inventory, look for the Outfits folder -- it's usually near the top of your inventory list. This is where all your saved looks are stored.

You can also use the My Outfits tab if you're working from the Appearance panel (more on that below).

Putting Together an Outfit

To wear items:

  1. Find the clothing, shoes, hair, or accessories you want in your inventory
  2. Right-click the item and choose Wear or Add (use Add for layered items so you don't accidentally replace something you're already wearing)
  3. Repeat for each piece until you're happy with the look

To remove items:

  1. Right-click a worn item and choose Detach or Remove
  2. Or open Avatar menu → Appearance and manage worn items from there

Saving the Outfit

Once you've got everything looking the way you want:

  1. Go to Avatar menu → Appearance (or click your avatar and choose Appearance)
  2. Click the My Outfits tab on the left side of the panel
  3. At the bottom of the panel, click the folder icon (Save as New Outfit) -- it may also appear as a small save/disk icon depending on your Firestorm version
  4. Give your outfit a name and hit OK

Your outfit is now saved in the Outfits folder in your inventory!

Wearing a Saved Outfit

Once your outfits are saved, you have a couple of ways to wear them:

From Firestorm:

  1. Open your inventory and navigate to Outfits (or go to My Outfits in the Appearance panel)
  2. Find the outfit you saved
  3. Right-click it and choose Wear -- this will replace your current look with everything in that outfit folder

From your MoonBots HUD or MoonBot Inventory:

Your saved outfits can be easily worn through your MoonBots HUD or MoonBot Inventory Viewer.

Tip: "Wear" replaces your entire current look. If you only want to swap part of your outfit, it's better to add items individually.

Quick Tips

  1. Rename an outfit by right-clicking its folder in inventory and choosing Rename
  2. Edit an outfit by making changes to what you're wearing, then right-clicking the outfit folder and choosing Replace Current Outfit -- or save it as a new outfit
  3. The Current Outfit folder in your inventory always shows exactly what your avatar is wearing right now -- handy reference point!
