Give your baby a personality and let them chat all on their own

What Is Auto-Chat?

Auto-Chat, found inside the Auto Chat Baby AI panel, lets your baby bot talk on its own using AI, based on a personality you define. Once set up, your baby can greet people nearby, respond in local chat, and stay in character without you needing to type anything.

Accessing Auto-Chat Settings

1. Click your baby bot to open the main menu.
2. Under My Moonbot Account, select [Starries] Upsies Settings.
3. Open the Auto Chat Baby AI section to see all Auto-Chat options.

Using a Non-MoonBots Bot?

Upsies! also works with bots that are not hosted on MoonBots. If your bot is not a MoonBot, log in to the bot directly and click Upsies to open its settings page. From there, the Auto Chat Baby AI section works the same way described below.

Building a Personality with the AI Character Wizard

Before your baby can chat, it needs a personality. The AI Character Maker walks you through this step by step.

1. From the Auto Chat Baby AI panel, select AI Character Maker.
2. Step 1, Type: choose your character's age group. Options include Baby (Infant, 0-1 yr), Toddler (2-3 years old), Child (5-10 years old), and Teen (13-17 years old). This should match the Auto Play Type you use for Auto-Play.
3. Select Next to continue through the Details, Settings, and Review steps.
4. On Review, confirm your choices to save the character.

Fine-Tuning Personality

If you want to adjust your baby's personality without going through the full wizard again, select Setup My Personality from the Auto Chat Baby AI panel. This lets you edit personality details directly.

Turning On Auto-start Chat

The Auto-start Chat toggle controls whether your baby begins chatting automatically once Auto-Chat is set up, without you needing to trigger it manually each time.

1. Locate the Auto-start Chat toggle near the bottom of the Auto Chat Baby AI panel.
2. Switch it on to let your baby start chatting on its own.
3. Switch it off if you would rather trigger chat manually.

Understanding Stars

Stars are the currency that powers your baby's AI chat responses. Your current balance is shown at the top of the Auto Chat Baby AI panel.

1. Check your current balance, where it displays as, for example, 0 Stars.
2. Select Buy More Stars when your balance is running low, to keep Auto-Chat running without interruption.
