Quick Login & Password Reset

The MoonBots terminal at the MoonBots office isn't just for paying for bots and checking your wallet. It's also the fastest way to log into your account or reset your password if you've forgotten it. This guide covers both, plus a website option for resetting your password if you'd rather do it that way.

Quick Login

If you're at the MoonBots office and just want to hop into your account without typing anything, this is the way to go.

1. Click the MoonBots terminal.
2. Click Account.

1. From the account menu, click Quick Login
2. The terminal will IM you a one-time link. Paste it below or check your chat log:

3. Click the link. A pop-up will ask if you want to load the page, click Go to page and you're logged in.

Important

Only use terminals that are actually MoonBots terminals, set out at official MoonBots locations. The link the terminal sends you is generated just for you and expires fast. Don't hand it off to anyone, including someone claiming to work for MoonBots. We will never ask you for it.

Resetting Your Password

Locked out or just want a fresh password? You've got two options: the terminal or the website. Pick whichever's easier.

Option A: From the Terminal

1. Click the MoonBots terminal and choose Account.
2. Click New Password.

1. Watch your IMs, the terminal will send over a link to set a new password.

1. Click it, then set your new password on the page that loads. You'll want to update it in your account settings right after, so it actually sticks.

Option B: From the Website

1. Go to moonbots.co and log in as usual.
2. Click your name in the top right corner.

1. This opens your account settings. Scroll down to Update Password.
2. Enter your new password in both boxes, Update Password and Confirm Password, then click the Update Password button.

Important

The same rule applies here: official MoonBots terminals only. If you're ever unsure whether a terminal is legit, don't use it.

Never share your quick login or password reset link with anyone. These are unique to you and meant to stay that way.

Tip

If you don't get the IM within a minute or two, make sure MoonBots isn't blocked in your Second Life contacts, then try again from the terminal.
